The drive from Port Elizabeth to Cape Town, South Africa, is known as the "Garden Route". It's a two-lane national highway that skirts the southern coast of South Africa. From rolling foothills in the Eastern Cape, over endless gorges and deep-ravine rivers, through wind-swept dunes at Africa's southern-most point, to the sheer cliff face walls that dangle the highway over the Atlantic, it is easily the most beautiful and awe-inspiring drive I've ever experienced.
